one of British cuisine

This is a "pasty", which is a sort of British foods. It is a kind of pie.
The pasty I bought was cheese tomato & basil pasty. I expected Italian flavor however, the taste was bland.

Basically, for me, British foods taste thin. I need more vivid tastes.
For example, a cup of coffee or tea from hard water is typical. Probably, the type of water is one of causes that foods in the UK taste lacking.

Meanwhile, some people often use seasoning to compensate flavor. Salt, pepper, mayo, catchup, sugar, vinegar, HP, whatever. So, it might be a premise to add some seasoning to cuisine.
